Booking Your Sitting

You can contact us by phone, E-mail or our Contact Form suggesting the date you would like your sitting and the number of people involved. If you are contacting us by E-mail please include a contact number and the best time to call you. We will then confirm your date and time. We can usually fit you in quite quickly, but please book your sitting in plenty of time is you want your pictures for Christmas presents, birthday or anniversary presents and if you require a particular date. When your sitting is confirmed please complete the Booking Form which can be downloaded here. This can be completed on your computer and E-mailed back to us

The Sitting

For most sittings allow an hour. We like to take a few minutes before we start to chat with you about what style of portrait you are looking for formal, casual and groupings if a number of people are involved. Plain clothes look better in photos than bold patterns. If you are wanting a casual look, this may involve sitting on the floor, so please wear clothes that would be suitable. For the best look of your portrait we recommend if more than one person is involved to coordinate your clothes, either all casual or all formal and wear colours that go together and don’t swear at each other. If you are choosing a casual look the background will usually be white, so it best to avoid clothes that have large areas of white. Children

If your portrait is to include, babies or young children it is best to arrange for the sitting to fit in with their sleep and feeding patterns. We are very happy if you want to bring a drink and a snack for them.

Feeling Your Best

We want you enjoy your sitting to love the pictures we take of you, so if you or your child is feeling unwell please let us know and we would be happy to rearrange another time for your sitting.

Paying For Your Sitting

We ask you to pay this when your sitting is confirmed. You can pay either by Paypal or your credit card here, by cheque (made payable to Sheila Constable) or by bank transfer (please ask for details).

Viewing your Pictures

We will arrange with you at the time of your sitting how you would like to view your images. Some clients find it more convenient to view their pictures in their raw state before any post production is done, rather than come back to the studio for a viewing at another time. We can arrange for you to have your own gallery on our website which can be useful if several members of a group do not live locally.

Hair and Make-up

If you would like to have your hair and make-up done professionally before your sitting please let us know and we can arrange this for you.
